3-6 Athletics Carnival

On Thursday 28thJuly, Ermington Public School had their 3-6 Athletics Carnival. It was held down on Marsden High Schools oval and was a great success. We were very lucky with the weather!!! Students participated to earn House Points for their houses – Marsden, Blaxland, Turner and Johnson. Our races included 200m, 800m, 100m and relays. We also had some fun with novelties and Tug-of-war. Some records were broken. They were by Kendall Lane in the 12year girls 800m (3.01.12), and Bridget Northcote in the 12year girls 100m (14.69). Another record was broken at our Field Events Carnival in Discus. That record was achieved by Bridget Northcote. She threw 17.33m. We would like to thank our wonderful parents who helped with timekeeping and a special thank you to all teachers who organised this event.
