Student leadership

The Student Executive at Ermington are from Year 6 classes in the school.  They comprise of the School Captains, School Vice Captains, Prefects, Sport House Captains and Library Monitors. Together they take on leadership responsibilities at school assemblies, sports carnivals, in the school library and at official school events.

The school also has a Student Representative Council (SRC) who meet once a fortnight to discuss school issues and new initiatives.  Two students from each class (Years 2-6) vote for their peers as representatives.

Students don't have to be school captains or house captains to be considered leaders. We encourage our students to be leaders in the classroom and playground, through their support for other students, or their involvement in academic, sporting, cultural or community events and projects.
